2017, great recent gravel road and parking lot provided by KDFW but on private land. The trails to the bar are mud. The bar cannot be waded in high water. Be careful that you don't get stranded on the bar if the river is rising. No Porta potty.
Good spot to load my kayak and canoe up after launching from dam. No launching ramp.
